Folks,
Perhaps someone can help me. I loaded the latest bin 461eubx and followed the normal process like I always do but this time the pansat 3500sd box came up with a -80- code in the front panel. I am dead in the water. Any suggestions please.
thanks

The latest 3500 bin for Dish is X-05BL_080214_366_api_nocard_DN
Not sure what you loaded.
If you crashed the unit you may need to JTAG a new boot file

Your absolutely correct. I loaded the wrong bin. I'm a dummy, after a year or so of doing this I loaded the wrong bin....I just ordered a jtag cable. I hope I can get it to work properly. The last time I tried using a jtag I couldn't get it to work properly. I have downloaded all of the instructions and they look pretty straight forward. I just have to make sure I connect the cable correctly to the box. This is where I had the trouble the last time.
Thanks for your help and quick response

If you have a light on the display you should be able to get them going without jtagging them. Hook them up to computer(power off receiver) with null cable, open up loader and find newest bin. just after switching on power on back of receiver, hit download. Don't wait for receiver to go through full power up. Let bin fully load then you should be ready to go. I'm doing this from the top of my head, you are just loading bin from computer but not waiting for receiver to go through the full start up. Once it does, you can't write to it.

You might also try loading the factory bin first, then newest bin by computer or sd card.
