just heard a (half credible) rumour about blacklist being busted by an FBI raid today.
according to sources they took everything.

can anyone shed more light on this???

btw, from what i can see,

I am sure there are others that can figure out pansat source code and implement it for the right money, which the fta is willing to spend. i think some of you guys are forgetting that blacklist isnt the only coder in the world. I am sure there are others that can figure out pansat source code and implement it for the right money, which the fta is willing to spend.

Pansat is being sued by Charlie because of the link between Pansat and their coders.

Now that the FBI has presumably uncovered that link and arrested Pansat's coders, do you really think that Pansat will now look for new coders to put on their payroll?

Taking out FTA won't stop them from going after plastic. Securing their signal from anyone other than their paying subs is their goal. It is wishful

If you talking FTA for big dishes back on the 80's yes but not to hack Dishnetwork. FTA for big dishes u needed a videocypher II to descramble premium channels.

Plastic hack has been around longer for Charley and Dave longer than FTA receivers that can get reception for either one.

all i'm saying is even if BL got served/busted (and i'm not saying that he did), that doesn't mean bins will stop. he's not the one coding them. that's it. it's entirely plausible that he's out of the loop, for whatever reason, and the bins keep coming.

I'm not so sure this is a rumor. I've seen some recent posts in the last couple days from a poster alleging he is Blacklist, but on both the forums I saw the posts he had just joined those forums. Plus, we have TDG coming out and saying this bust is BS. Pretty much I believe the opposite of what TDG says. I think we should leave this thread where it's at until we see evidence to prove otherwise. (the release of a working .bin IS NOT proof that blacklist is still around)
