I successfully converted my FLU to a Pansat 2700. I am having trouble with the latest Lightening 250 file , The instructions recommend a factory reset and a satellite scan before loading the new file. My question is...Does the factory reset set the FLU to the original FLU factory settings .or to the new Pansat factory settings? Or possibly, does it matter once the new file is applied???

That's two qwestions I suppose. Any help appreciated.

I guess the "instructions" that you read are wrong if they recomend doing a factory default and a scan BEFORE uploading the NEW bin. You do a factory default and this will "clean" de chip to a 2700 state, then you upload the new bin, fix your settings and then scan your birds.;)
