a little help please

I'm trying to download the new file to fix my cs5000, I got the cs loader and the new file but when I connect the receiver to the computer and try the autodetect it tells me to turn the receiver on. I,ve already checked all the ports and all are enabled. Any ideas?

I guess that one should be in Stand-By or Boot to be able to get the fix, did you try that????

I've already tried the stand by, I did the boot with the channel up (holding it) and the stand by at the same time, if that's what you meant for a boot, is it something diferent?

Boot = boot

Did you get that on the display? The first one you get it pressing Power on the remote control the other one pressing power at the same time you flip the back switch. That is how you did it???

no, I held the channel up button at the fornt of the receiver and then power on the front also that will take you to another screen wich will allow you to erase the memory, it's kind like database reset.
