c0d3sP4c3 is back up with the v02 hot fix from 12/06/07. This is working as of 2/18/08

c0d3sP4c3 is back up with the v02 hot fix from 12/06/07. This is working as of 2/18/08
Which means that Charlie is up to something new these days. Perhaps, a new map call?

Make sure ALL of the keys are up to date. Also if your using nagraedit, you shoud download quick edit to update the keys easily.

It took someone to post this to get me running. The other patches MECM updates didn't work for me, but others had it working. With this patch, i was able to get up and running.

Here's what I did:
Cleaned my card, got it ready to write.

Opened my cleaned DT08 bin at rev 103
Patched clean codespace Rom 102 Rev 103 - A7BF
Patched codespace Rom102 Blocker V16 - evil inside edition
Patch the above code (copy and paste to notepad, then rename ext to .ep102)
Saved this patched bin.

Opened and ran Mr Tier works, patched tiers, save image.
Write the image that Mr tier works generated to the card.

I did NOT update the PID 0106 keys, as I do not know the proper method to do this, however either the PID0106 were already updated in the patch in first post here or my card rolled these keys within a few seconds.

I have almost no clue what I'm doing here, but the above did work for me. I don't understand the MECM 40 and MECM 60 updates and why some people can get it working but I can't unless someone spoon feeds me the above update as posted in the fist post in this thread.

Thats a little extreme. If there wasn't anything wrong with your tiers, then you didn't have to create new tiers. Also, you don't have to c/p patch to notepad and save as .ep102; you could c/p patch into the program you are using to program your card.

Just a heads up:)

hmmm I wonder what I am doing wrong... I am repatching with the c0d3sP4c3 listed above and i still get the card not authorized and the channels seem weird they don't show locals and are red and blue.. really weird....

anyone have any ideas? thanks.

enduser, your tiers expired. As of 2/21 this patch does not work. We need to wait for an update.
