guys hope one is bored and feel like helping. iam running as of few hours ago the st19 2.6.27 , the DOS version ., with a floppy and ofcourse a rom card., i would like to run windows., what file can i download to run with windows ., with com1 and com 2.

here is what my st19 folder for windows has in it.
It has the st19 windows exec, your st19.cor, st19 rom file, and the st19.out file plus your bat file.
my command line in my bat file is....
st19xl.exe /a /m /pa(aux) /pe(ird) st19.cor

Im sure there are differnt ways the command line will work, but this is what works for me.

for some reason when st19 was working on a computer without an aux card , i copied that st19 file to anther computer and i was never able to get that file to work with a rom card, and i have spend days and no one could think of telling me how to diagnose this., i think the problem must have been that every st19 folder with its contents its set up for a specific port , 2 or 3 or 5., with the aux virtual port at 5, 9 whatever.
and since i dont know how to edit that from the st19 . i guess i need one only that works at port 1.
i mean i was and still here for days and all are telling comand line ......
oh by the way i still dont know what to do with what retier... comand line.
so again is there a file that works with st19 nat port 1 for windows, i can download.??

edit the cmd lines means open wordpad, and use it to open the ST.bat file to make those changes as retired guy has noted....may have to set the dropdown window to "all files" once wordpad is opened....the pa setting is the port for the aux card, while the pe setting is the com port connected to your emu
so if you are using com1 ro connect your emu to pc, and your virtual ports are say, 4 and 6...then your cmd line would look like this:
st19xl.exe /a /m /pe1 /pa6 st19.cor

oh yeah, to save the cor file when you hit shift C, you want to add to the cmd line
st19xl.exe /a /m /0 /pe1 /pa6 st19.cor as the /0 ( or -0) tells ST to save the cor to the file you have noted...which is st19.cor
you can use either the / or - to make these settings.

I am FREEZING occasionally on this version, anyone else?

I am running a 3.68 iso that solved previous FREEZE issues.

Any suggestions welcomed.

With this version, I am getting a lot of !!!!!!!!!!!!!!. I know this means a delay needs to be added to -a. I added delays from 10 to 200 with no luck. Always getting !!!!!!!!.

Older versions worked fine.

try changing baud rate of aux com port to 115200. Please report back.

I tried both 19200 and 115200. No difference. version 24 works fine with both speeds (except no picture of course as it has the wrong MECM).

yeah, dont' know whats goin on. Some peeps report that .27 is working great, no freezing, reboots, and others can't get it to work? Dont' know must be a bug.

Just go back to .19 or .21 version, they both work fine

start word or wordpad...click file/open and point it to the folder or floppy that has your ST files. In the window that opens "files of type", set that to "all documents" and select the bat file (the one with the gear on it) and make your changes, then save it and exit.

Since yesterday my st19 has been rolling keys, i updated the latest dynamic code but still same problem, using newest st with 522 and aux card. Anyone else have this problem?

Anyone having luck with .27 in windows with no freezes. If so how?

It runs in dos flawlessly but I am getting !!! in windows with a 3.6864 iso. My 3.57 is running in dos no problems and the 3.6864 in dos is also freeze free. The pc has tons of ram and hp.
