Hey guys i think st19 without a card is not working now , but iam tryen to learn how to set up a computer .
I was running a st19 with no Aux card., has 2 files one the st19 and the other aux file.
it had one port and i did few virtual ports , so it worked fine.

1 . i copied the same st19 and aux to anther computer with com1 and com2.
but i cant run the program cuz the ports are not right.
i found out that in the st19 the .bat file with the (gear pic) i can edit read in the read me file.
a. i changed the PE and Pa , to pe1 and pa2, .emulator at 1, and iso at 2

however, the au file has 2 files could be edited , the aux share config, and aux share bat with the (gear pic)., i cant do these right., what i need to change to make it work port 1 and 2
the Aux share .bat has this.(auxshare /E4 /D/m25)
and the aux share config., has client com = com1
and card com com 4

you no need auxshare ...

simply in your st19xl.bat .. st19xl -a -m -s -pe1 -pa2 st19.cor

flash your 102 card with Perky's aux 1.23

put em in your iso on com2 .. emulator com1

and run st19xl.bat

enjoy

-------------------------------------------------------

when an update of auxshare will be up you will need this setting:

Add a pair of virtual port (NOT OVERLAPPED) ie: COM7 and COM8

update your AUXSHARE.INI ---> Client Port= COM8

update your st19xl.bat to: ST19XL -a -m -s -pe1 -pa7 St19.cor

you dont need to modify your auxshare.bat /e3 are right and not need to be modified

run auxshare.bat
Run St19xl.bat
enjoy

Okay. I had it all typed out.

Easiest way to do it is to get an old bootdisk for ST19XL
Make disk. edit the autoexec.bat to this line:

ST19XL.exe -a -m -s -pe1 -pa2

Copy over the new ST19XL.EXE file, and the correct ST19.COR file.

Ensure your IRD is on COM 1 and your ISO programmer with your perky's 1.23 aux is COM 2.

Boot from floppy disk. It should load up and work. This ensures everything is correct.
You can then copy the contents of this bootdisk to your windows hard drive, ensureing that your virtual ports are not overlapping COM1 or COM2. If so delete them for the time being.
