Old 2700 working well for past year with atmega. Amega down 3 weeks ago, took card out. Reprogramed yesterday amd now, I get no power to receiver. Light does not come on....any ideas?

does your receiver light come on when you plug it in? if it doesn't you can try 2 things. Open your receiver and check the to see if the fuse is blown by the power supply. also try to jtag and reprogram the tsop.

Thanks for the quick reply Havok. First thing I did was check the fuse. Looked good, but I replaced it to be sure. Still no go. Tried to jtag, but won't...can you thinks of anything else...thanks, sailor.

looks like the tsop got messed up, try manually putting in the rcvr info in Jkeys window if it doesn't recognize the ird.

try writing a virgin eeprom

Thanks to all for the suggestions. I don't know what could have happened. I had the atmega out , but the box was plugged in and the dish hooked up....may have been lightning, but all other electronics work to include other sat's. I'll play with it this weekend and report back with results...thanks again all...

have you tried jtagging it with a dummy card in the slot , not the atmega?

I guess you'll have to buy another one from ebay (2800, 2700 or 3700). It was statics probably.
