If its streaming a software update and the freezing I would check build config
or try a different bin. Are you erasing both tsops and reflashing U7 and eprom

when i am jtagging my reciever i am doing a full erase o flash 1 at least 4 times then i do a full flash erase of flash 2 four times then i flash the new tsop for 079 software revision and then i do the virgin eeprom then i disconnect the jtag plug ird back in and attach cable and let it do the stream update i think this is correct but not sure thanks movieohionut

yeah sounds like wrong build config or bootstrap. wrong build config will sometimes work but won't acquire sattelite signal

Donkk. I did not do anything to the Original. Mili sent it to me and all I do is update it with romcode when the new updates come out. this is the same card and receiver I have been using. How would the bootstrap would have been changed?

it shouldn't of changed. that would of been the case if perhaps you grabbed a tsop out of the download section and was trying to do something else. sattelite tuner chip has been known to go out of these units making them loose signal. I have 3 of them and knock on wood have not had a issue with any of them. but i have read it happening plenty of times

well check voltage coming out of sattelite in feed. verify it is around 13-18 volts if the voltage is low there you can conclude the connex chip went out. They can be replaced. I have never done it but have read where others have done it
