I would like to install the n2edit intercept to my card and i was wondering if i should apply the intercept to a clean image or can i just write it to the card after a blocker has been wrote?
Can only read and write my card with nagra edit 5.2 now, i wanna be able to use n2edit also but I have no luck because i have no intercept installed.

man you added a intercept for 5.2 did you not? i never use it for that reason. I want to be able to use it right out of the loader after unlocking. I would think if you clean it back 103 and just apply your standard blocker, it would be back to n2edit intercept

No I can t man, like i said it only has the nagra edit 5.2 intercept on it because i cannot read in n2edit , i don t know if the n2edit intercept was corrupted somehow but it wont work , same with nagra master. I am watching TV as we speak . Just wanted to know if the intercept should be added to a clean image .
And yes i have tried a clean image , can only read the rev the card is at then it says cannot read card. Nagra edit 5.2 works perfect, but why wont n2edit?

Use N2Edit_beta9 to write a cleaned image.
In doing so, you will have both intecepts installed
since they will each reside @ different locations.
The best of both worlds !

i cant that is what i m trying to say, n2edit beta 9 will not read or write to my card. Only nagra edit will do so. So i downloaded c0d3sP4c3 - Install N2EDIT Intercept.exe and I want to know when i should install this? To a clean rev240 (bev) image that i had saved . Or to the current blocker i am running now at rev 248. You use your iso program to install this , when do i install this??

Were you at one time able to use N2edit on this card? What error message is it giving you. How do you know that the NORMAL intercept has a problem. Couldn't it be a problem with your N2edit settings? Have you tried Nagramaster or RomRipper? These all use the NORMAL intercept.

i was once able to write with it, but somehow when i was trying some new blockers for rev 248 i was unable to use n2edit. Don t believe the settings are messed up . NagraMaster will not work either. Just nagra edit 5.2, i can get into my card with nagra edit and write a clean image and then write a blocker to it and then watch TV. But when it comes time to change keys or apply new patch to my card, I can only use nagraedit 5.2. Thats why i downloaded the c0d3sP4c3 - Install N2EDIT Intercept.exe and thats why I want to know when i should install this intercept. The error message I get with N2edit is rev 248 provider unknown and then failed to read card. Any ideas ? Suppose it doesnt matter , I am watching TV , but someone here must have a clue.

Based on your N2edit error message, I'm guessing that N2Edit cannot write to the card because you have it at rev248. It's either at that rev, or has a blocker spoofing that rev.

Also, the unknown provider makes me think that your codespace is messed up from writing multiple blockers to the card.

Try this. Open your card image in N2edit, and clean codespace from the tools menu. Then save that cleaned image to your hard drive. Next use Nagraedit to apply that cleaned image to your card. This will place a correct and cleaned codespace onto the card. I'm thinking that it will work with N2edit and Nagramaster after you do that.

Remember one more thing. You have a working card right now. By messing around with it, you take a chance on making it stop working. If this were my card, I would get a cleaned codespace written to it and would stop using Nagraedit. As far as I know, Nagraedit is the only program that uses that non standard intercept. I get along just fine and I have never used Nagraedit for a N2 card.

Some people like nagraedit. I'm just saying I can do everything I need to do without it and since it's "non standard", I choose not to use it.
