If you cannot read the card then you will need to unlock it, clean the image with N2Edit or Nagramaster and write the cleaned image back to your card.
Then follow the step-by-step from RomCode.
Doesn't get much easier. You have nothing to fear from RomCode.

i've never bought a card (plastic anyway) from mil, i'm surprised it showed up locked. do you have an unlocker/iso programmer? if not you'll at least need the latter and then i'm sure mili will have a password for you. if it happens to be streamlocked (doubtful), you can send it out for $10 or so, pm me for a trustworthy dude.

hopefully you are catching up on your reading, sounds like you've got a lot to do. do you have a j tag? are you running public #'s? up there next to the yellow card pic is a link on how to j tag a lot of ird's. the proggy for modifying ird's id called jkeys. with a 2700 any version should work i think. read up on the sector erase as well. i've never used romcode as well so i'm not too sure how much more help i can be.

the card probely has no dt08 on it dont worry let romcode give you privete IRD/BOXKEYS then use flashedit change the numbers in your saved tsop to the ones that romcode gave you wirte them to your IRD i think you might want to read the how to for romcode and jtaging good luck

Sounds like you haven't been reading and that is dangerous when programming plastic as they are unforgiving to mistakes. A $199.99 piece of equipment can become as valuable as a $0.99 pack of coasters. Unless you need a coaster, I'd advise you to read.
eeprom and tsop are not the same! A jtag is used to provide a line of communication between you ird and your pc. Jkeys is an application used to comminicate with your ird. Once your jtag is installed, you would then use jkeys to save and/or write a tsop and eeprom to your ird.
You must decide whether you are going to use public numbers or private numbers.

yes, you need to decide if you want public or private #'s, check the info screen on yur tv to see what you've got now. lets say public #'s for giggles:
look in any tsop bank and find tsop and eep for 2700 labeled 'no rsa' or 'public #'s, last two of four letters must match in the build config(sticker on board).
hook up jtag, erase tsop 3x, then write tsop and eeprom. erase designated sector for the 2700, there are guides everywhere you can find which sector. then follow the instructions for your card. you may need n2edit or something along those lines to play with the card. if you want to go private, you will need to read up on flashedit, which you can get here or fileshop. i have limited exp with 2700, but i think it should be a relatively easy box to get going once you figure out your card. like james636 suggests, don't guess when it comes to your card, be certain of your next step. there are tons of guides out there that will help you further. good luck

It is the first two numbers that must match. The guide that RomCode gives you will be complete and get you watching TV.

Took your advice and done more reading on that subject,I followed romcode directions and card is working fine but do not get all channels like I do with FTA,I cleaned and reprogrammed then set the tiers with rom codes program.
Do I have to use there program to pick tiers or can I do it another way.
THANKS

Great job!
I would use their tier program, if you continue to have tier issues, then I would use another tier program.

I'm good now I just started using romcode a few days ago and I jumped right in without reading,I was getting pissed off and losing my patinnce with FTA always getting knocked around.
If it was just me using this TV I would not care,I got a 16 year old on my back.
Question is how often will this source of testing work before it goes down and what do I have to do to get it back up.
Whats the bennies, would it be better to sub from dish and use my own card or not.
Thank's
