New white unlocker and RM1A

Hello Everyone, I just recieved my new white unlocker and ISO writer!! (Thanks Mili) This is my fist card and setup so needless to say I am a little nervous. I have been doing alot of reading and have recieved some help from my neighbor. So first things first, do I need to flash the unlocker with XPAtmel as per the online instructions? Even though I will be using RM1A? Or does RM1A have a flash for the unlocker? I guess I am just a little confused. Thanks :confused:

inside the rm_1a unllocking pogram there is a rsx1 eeprom and flash file. you copy those two files into the xpatmel program, then when you open the progrma you will see RSX1 in the top window. set dips 1 and 6 to the on position (updwards) and double click the rsx1 and it will program the atmel in the loader. now you are ready to use the rm_1a program be sure to set dips 1 and 6 off and switch up 2 and 5 for unlocking plastic rom 102s

if you have problems flashing atmel. you right click on the little grey bar above the program button and a little box will pop up saying "show timing settings" you change them so they are 60/50/1 respectively. i was tired last night and forgot to mention that. it is actually a good idea to change it to that anyway to be sure you get a uncorrupted flash

I've always had better luck flashing chips with a program call UFP16. Mine works better with nothing else running, such as an internet connection.

Thanks to all, I just got back on the site. were I am at it has been very very slow. I was lucky with one and looped one Not bad for my first ones. I also just did the diode mod to the white nexus. So its ready to go. (just waiting on something to put in it) But they are on the way! Also I have saw something about people using different voltages on that nexus. Does this realy help? Or is it different for each rev? Thanks for eveything couldnt do without this great site and the people that are here! :D

I tried to flash my white nexus all day with no success.....
then I found your post . works like a charm. All I need is the 10c to unlock
working on that next.:D

i used 220 ohm resister. have had very goo results. i wont say i havnt looped a card mostly very high rev. untill this rma came out it's been perfect. but every unlocker is like your kid. look the same but act differantly. you must love and pet and hug him or her. then she will be nice for you.

just get to know her.
