hi goodevening fellas,


fellas can you tell me please, which one of the FTA PVR's can be programmed? also my next question is, which one of the HD FTA i can use to program, i need help on this fellas, i hear a cardswap is going to come and i dont wanna rush into getting the things that i need when the swap comes, i wanna get them now, can someone be specific which HD FTA and what FTA PVR can i use that can be programmed, i need these fellas, any help is appreaciated

dont go ahead and buy anything thinking that its going to work when the time comes..Especially an fta .Wait and see cause you might be spending your money for nothing.

Plastic seems more reliable, I think there is something for the vip receivers though..

There are NO FTA's out that can guarantee operation after the card swap, everyone hopes and thinks there will be a fix "post-swap", but there are no guarantees at all. If you want one that works now, I recommend the Sonicview HD, but be prepared for the possibility that it won't work once the swap is done, which will be somewhat soon for the canadian provider and sometime in 09 for the US provider, and then if you're down, you're also out the $550 for the HD fta with 8psk module. If you get original provider equipment here that mili has "worked over", you have a better chance post card swap simply because the providers are not going to replace every subscribers receiver(at least not yet), so the stuff he has here should still be usable with plastic...hopefully. I recommend you go over to the sections on plastic and receivers and do some reading. Good Luck
