5.07 not A/Ring keys?!?

hey, using the new program posted for USB256, Atmega 5.07 ...

ok, not sure if I'm doing something wrong here, but it looks like the keys are not rolling.

i programmed it 2 days ago, and last 48h I have been pulling out the card constantly and getting new keys from jeepers, writing it to the 256 and putting back in IRD to reset TV?

is this normal or am I programming something wrong, or should the keys not be rolling?

ps, also would be nice to have a GET KEYS FEATURE in USB256 so we dont have to use jeep to cut and paste keys for 256, just a suggestion.

if anyone could help would be greatly appreciated.

I tried the new Phoenix today. It didn't roll the keys either.

5.07 keys will roll if you leave on channel 101 for about 5 minutes. phoenix is not rolling though for some reson.

PAL missed a couple of key changes but as of now Pal and jeepers programs are rolling again.

USBAtmegas are only supported by Fab5 and his loaders. PAL and jeepers will NOT work on the usb256.
There's also a legacy 256 that PAL and jeepers will work on. USB256 and legacy256 are two totally different cards. Look the same though.

I know that they are 2 different cards. I got a 256USB from MILLI and I only use the files posted in the stickys on the USB256 page here.

Thats why I was asking if I was doing something wrong or programming wrong because the keys have not rolled in the last 2 days with the 5.07 program.

I have to keep on pulling out the card to re-program it, or write new keys.

I only use JEEPERS to GET KEYS for the USB256 because the software for USB256 has no GET KEYS function and I don't know where else to get the keys from other then JEEPERS.

So thats how I am doing it, I open JEEPERS hit GET KEYS and CUT AND PASTE into USBATMEGA256.EXE!!

So I wanted to know am I doing something wrong for the keys to not be rolling or what ?!?!?!

If you are using the USB256 you need to put your receiver on a free channel like 101 for D!sh and let it sit for ten minutes.(and it should auto roll) I leave my receiver on 101 everytime I turn it off. I have not missed a key change yet. I know it kind of sucks but its better than having your picture freeze and rebooting.

haha, how is that possible, when you READ KEYS, it just READS the keys off the card and then your just RE-WRITING them back, I dunno how that would give you picture.

I'm gonna try leaving it on 101 and see if it does the auto-roll like you said, see how that works out for me. Hope it works.

Umm, other then that is there and easier way to GET KEYS for USB256? What are some of the methods that you people use?

I think we should have a GET KEYS button progged into the SOFTWARE, it would be much easier and I think its fairly easy to implement, I wonder why FAB5 hasn't put it in there already.

try tvkeyz.com it works for me, it updates fast. Also Fab5 has done a wonderful job in keeping this card going. I think in time the software will get better. Also you can use http://dssftp.com/keys/main.php for your keys.

heyyahblah, this is what testing is all about. Small price to pay for free tv. You want autoroll all the time, sub.
