Stubborn Unknown provider... help!

I use romcode for this card and today for some reason it gave me Unknown Provider on my card. I tried to fix by editing the image in n2edit and setting 30C0 to A7 BF instead of BF BF, then writing that image, but i still get Unknow provider!

unfortunatly i dont have a virgin bin saved for this card :(, i tried to get a clean bin off the files, and it replaces my CAM ID, BOX KEYS & IRD. And i cant JTAG my box because it doesnt have a hole on the bottom.

What can i do? im running out of options.

Take one of your bins that worked and clean it in N2edit/save it and write to card

2nd option If the image that has the wrong cam # on it fixes the unknown provider, run it threw dt tiers or mr tier works to change the box and cam # to your old ones.

when you get it back do a one step clean in N2edit on the card save image and name it clean or virgin.

Unfortunately i dont have any saved bins, unless romcode saves them for me somewhere.

I know my IRD# can be found on my reciever, but what about the boxkeys? anyway to get that out w/out jtagging?

I see, and now you have written the different can bin to card and the # are gone.
Have you ever run Mr tiers or and other program on the card or card image?
If you have there is a chance there is a bin on your computer.

Maybe retired guy or bandit will see this, I don’t use romcode or know If it saves an image. Bad news maybe that if it does, and you have ran it on the unmarried card you might have over written it.

Reading the tsop will get you the IRD and Box keys (no cam ID) If you have the cam # somewhere you could just make a new cam bin. So If you cant find the cam # then you prolly going to have to make a new set of #s in gendt08. A new tsop and card image set.

Unfortunately you have a lot of work to do, could of been avoided buy simply saving an bin image from the card.

any old cam bin will save you the hassle even if it has romcode on it.

Hey guys, i JTAG'ed the IRD info from my 301 box. Then i used DT trierworks to generate a patch with the IRD#, boxkeys, and my Cam id, applied the patch to Bandit's clean bin. Wrote the bin. Boom! no ATR. Receiver says Card not inserted correctly. My first loop :(

Any idea what i did wrong?
