I have a ROM102 image that I married to my Dish 3900 IRD using GenDT08 and the keys I saved from GenDT08 in a previous marrying of another image. This new image works fine.

I want to marry this same newly married ROM102 image to a different IRD.

Can I use the same method I used to marry it the first time, by loading the new Dish IRD's TSOP and then loading the newly married ROM102 image and following the proper steps to do the marrying? Then saving the card, saving the TSOP, save keys? Then rewriting the TSOP back to the IRD?

I guess what I'm really asking is: Does the fact that I've already married the image using the secondary keys, create a problem for now marrying the same married image to a different Dish IRD using secondary keys?

I no longer have the original image from before marrying it, as the original image was accidentally deleted.

My thinking says it should work OK as it was originally married to another IRD before I used GenDT08 to marry it using secondary keys. But then it was originally married using the normal method of marrying by Dish.

I'm asking because I'm helping someone else get set up and they are on the other side of the country with their IRD, so I can't just try it and see how it works.

Any ideas on this?

Thanks,

if u want to use the same card with 2 irds, just flash the image from first ird to second and no need to remarry anything...

Of course... if they were the same model IRD that would work. In this case the IRDs are different model numbers so my original questions....

That is one way...........

Another is just use winhex to transfer keys from one tsop file to another.

Either will work fine.

Workmens cloner is a good deal for that too, maybe the easiest.

Thanks, I didn't know about the FlashCloner for TSOPs. That looks like a very easy method.
