 I have a RomCode Blocker on one card and it has been working fine. I had no problem programming the card because the instructions lead you through the process step by step. I have a Rom 102 Rev 103 card that I have been trying to program on my own so that I can learn the process. I downloaded the Muah All in One blocker but I can't figure out how to get into it to change the password and the Locals. I read the "Read Me" that was included with the Blocker but can't figure out how to "open the included bin that corresponds to your area". It recmmends writing the Bin with N2Edit 2.5. Is this what I use to change the password and locals? I also read "Changing Card Indo Using DT-Tierworks" but get stuck when it starts talking about "applying the first part of the Penga Blocker of your choice". Any help would be appreciated. I don't want to lock this card after it took me so long to get into it.

You should get Mrtierworks or DTtierwork.
Take your card and clean it in N2edit (onestepclean.n2scr)
Read card an see that it is at rev 103 and save image, Name it clean.
Open DTtierworks (Mrtierworks is nearly the same looking interface) and enter the information in the top left.
1(Time zone) select your zone, During daylite savings time you may have to use one farther east or west than your in (so your IRD time on menu is correct)
2(Zip code) USA zip for your local area
3(Remap locals) This is where you set locals and remap to be displayed in channel guide as ch3 ch9 ch13 ect.
4(Calaneder Icon) This sets the experation date for tiers.
5(Key icon) these are the Idea or 101 keys http://www.dssftp.com/forum/showthread.php?t=71496
6(IRD icon) Enter the pubic or private info for cam and IRD. Use scientific calculator in windows to convert dec to hex or visa versa as needed.
You can use Gendt08 or romexplorer to get this info from from card image.
7(Set PPV tiers) Just leave it on the default (low 0010000 high 0099999 wide open) Generate and done. (Tighter PPV tires can also be made)
8(Main programming tiers) you must select the Americas top 060, 120 and 180, plus what ever else you want.
9(local tiers) Make sure you select at least the local REMAP you used. Distant locals will be on 6000 - 9000 channels range (see channel in tierworks)
10(International) self explaning
I usuallly place a copy of the cleaned bin (from above) in tierworks folder and name it cleantiers.bn102.
11(Modify Bin File) Open the clean bin (cleantiers) you just placed in tierworks folder. Tier works will write the info to bin and save a copy with a file extention (cleantiers.bn102.bak)
Just leave it (cleantiers.bn102.bak) and copy the modified bin (cleantiers.bn102) in to N2edit folder. I never over write this bin I keep it cleantiers so I dont have to modify a tier bin again (untill tiers expire, Tiers need changed or other changes need to happen like new cam and IRD info)
12(Open bin (cleantiers) in N2edit) Use file open or hit the folder icon. (Some peep including myself use Nagraedit52 to apply patches to bins (BUT DONT USE IT TO WRITE THE BIN TO CAMS) Im just using N2edit for this how to.
13(Tools / Apply Patch) Patch window opens in N2edit, copy and paste the blocker and or patch in to the window and Apply it. (.txt can be pasted in window and .ep102 files can be opened with open patch button).
14(File / Save Image) I name mine blocker102 and save it. I do this to identify bins and it also keeps my cleantiers bin from being changed, its always ready to use with a new blocker or a different patch.
15(Dish 0106 Key Changer) With it you can put (or check) the current 106 and 101 keys on this bin. http://www.dssftp.com/forum/showthread.php?t=73697
Your cam bin (blocker102) is now ready, write to your cam. After writing to cam always reset ATR to be sure it is now at Rev 10C or current rev. Then try to read card without blocker password (should fail to read this is good cam is locked)
I would recomened applying the blocker and patch first (to bin) for cams then use (Dish 0106 Key Changer) to check bin for current keys before writing to card. Blockers and patches also have keys on them and if there not current they over write the current ones. (change as nessasary).
Every time you need to make a change to your card I would recomend that you clean (N2edit/programs and scripts/Onestepclean.n2scr) and or write a clean image to your card, reset ATR and should be (Rom 102 Rev 103).
Then follow steps 12 - 15 again. This is for peep that are unsure of the may other ways to update card info, Im just trying to make a safe reliable how to.
I use codespace blocker when I run plastic but this may help you prep your bin so when you decide what blocker and how to change password you will have an outline.
If you open most blockers and look you will prolly see the place labled password.

Yes you can read it their but you prolly want to make the changes perminent.
I dont think the patch window in n2edit will save the changes.
Thats why some peep use nagraedit52 to patch there bins, it has more features. You can save the changes and test the patch. Just dont use it to write to your card, just apply patches to bin.
