Hello All.

I have a bev 6100 IRD (Refurbished ex-dishnet 811)with the card slot activated from new (subbed to bell with a rom206 card. HD Extra package). Watched an Atmega256USB HowTo Video from another forum. Noticed when he was selecting the IRD number in the software for the usb256, the model 811 caught my eyes. He was using public boxkey/ird numbers in hex format. I was about to go ahead and order one but I want to check with everyone on here if it will indeed work with a 6100 using the public numbers being that the 811 is the 6100's twin brother? If I get the thrilling location id 00000001 on the 6100, how would I go about the repair as this thing has no jtag port on it at all. Possibly a junkyard fix? Any input would be much appriciated. Thank you in advance.

you have to have the dump of the married card, since you have rom 206 in this unit it isnot possilble to get the dump that married the unit to the card. there is no public 206 hack at this time

Ture.

Plus, FAB5 still hasn't fixed the 811 support as far as I know.
