Can a 8psk board from a 6000 ird be used in any fta receiver?

The 8psk can be used in the sonicview 8000hd, But it is recommended to use the generic adapter instead of the one out of an dsh 6000.

actually its the opposite. If you can get a dish 8psk get it. those damn Q BOARDS are always going bad.
