I've been getting this all day starting with 2.1.3. Sometimes it's Verify flash fail, sometimes it the eeprom.Mostly eeprom. Do you all run with verify checked?

Just uncheck verify. It will work. Many people have same problem. No patch with loader. Just let stream for about 15 minutes.

15 minutes of black screen?I unchecked verify. Now I'm waiting.Only previews.
Finally. I didn't wait long enough. I'm really tired, cranky and impatient tonight. Now that's fixed I can go to bed!!

It happend to me , I first virginize card then change the fuse settings until it programs allright.
This is from an old post:
Atmega 128:
FF,A1,89,FF is default after virgin
FF,AF,89,FF is runtime OR FF AE,89,FF
Atmega 256:
FF,E2,99,FF is default after virgin
FF,EF,99,FF is runtime or FF,E7,99,FF
hope it helps.

Apparently,as long as Phoenix finishes programming the atmega successfully(writes the run fuse) it will work. Doesn't matter if you verify eeprom.
