yup. I was having the same problem. Reason I switched to 3.64 was because I was getting an Eeprom verify failed. It doesn't matter if you get that message, just wait at least 15 minutes.

Get "file corrupt" when executing the prog again and again no matter where I download the file from, which began here in the files sec. (I would wager that every site now has this same file!) Even the winzipped version is corrupted! It's not my particular winrar or my particular winzip. At least, I doubt it. Extractions using these utilities still work for me with other files. So, whoever uploaded it may have used what, vista maybe for the compression? (My op sys is win98se.) I don't know, but I never would have thought in a million years that YOUR winrar or zip is different from MINE. Gad I'm pissed! And I'm gonna work on something else now like getting pissed.

I have a xp computer to which I downloaded the rar. Extracted it to mem stick. Transferred to 98 comp, executed ph with same result - file corrupt. (Don't want to use xp comp for this anyway. Never had to.) So if winrar acts up like this from time to time as you say, then it's not the op sys at fault.
Can something be done with the settings in winrar to solve this problem?
