nagra 2 to nagra 3

Hi i want to know when D**H will go from nagra 2 to nagra 3 will this affect all fta community like viewsat,sonicview,coolsat,etc will these fta's will become garbage or maybe these fta's companies have some other plans for their customers for example buy a new fta box that is capable of nagra 3.:cool: :p

.....assuming there will ever be a fta box that supports nagra3......I mean without all that IKS BS.....assuming even that will work. We most likely have at least another year before we are seriously confronted with this problem. That's just my opinion though.

When the card changeover becomes reality...all emu (emulation) devices (FTA, Atmega, ect) will be down until the new cards (N3 or whatever) are compromised. The only thing that will be up is a valid sub... I recommend you get some prepaid Dish receivers (with ROM206) to carry you through this period. You can get the DP301's on Fleabay for less than $30 (make sure they come with the red card!!).

thought that rom206 are already hacked ......in europe.....

concidering they have a 206 spoof to make the mpeg4 recievers work i imagine someone got into the card at some point. I also imagine its very not public and likely to remain that way for quite a while.

The real question is are they swapping anyone to 206's, it was my understanding people were getting 240s.

206/240 can both decrypt the N3 stream... Charlie will probably only discontinue what he believes is his BIGGEST threat (ROM 102 - maybe the ROM 103).

I believe the 206 spoof only makes the lower card appear to be a ROM 206....does not have the algorythms or MAPs.
