View Full Version : Weekly Lemming Influx thanks to cookie cutter ECM
Dish and BEV down on all EMULATOR platforms (yes your ball wrangling Viewsats are emulators). Wait for the fixes and stop opening a trillion pages cause you are eating up all the available bandwidth. Since the host moved our servers we get only 10Mb/s so stop opening 50 pages up. Go to the files forum and check HOURLY if there are new files out. In the meanwhile grab a book (you know those papery things with letters in them) or go molest the wife (goat). If you are looking for the new USB Atmega256 files go overload PKD's server at www.card-coders.com as it is there he posts it when ready.

just curious milli , you support the usb atmega 256's , yet you tell your loyal users to go to card-coders ?? that seems like a strange thing to tell people... imho
I'd rather they overload that server with their hunt for the file than this one. What else are you curious of? You want to know where I live too? By the way I sell teh cards not support it. That is Fab5''s job.

mili thought there was a big party over there @ C-C's! lmfao jk
I had to turn off the shoutbox too as it ate a lot of juice up too for the time being. For Enigma files go to www.enigmacards.com for USB A files to www.card-coders.com. Very simple, I sell the cards but if possible don't want traffic for those files eat up my now precious band width.

So true & I'm with ya, always thought the shout box was just for shouts & update remarks (letting peep know whats up & not to hold an entire thread on it like a lot do--useing it as their own thread platform.

it's also for hockey scores.....lol.....do i post them here tonite?......j/k
Brilliant I tell ya, simply brilliant!!
send the people to the other sites to use their bandwidth, and what do they see, A banner for this site that they have to come back to to buy the cards. :)
Man I wished I was smart.
In other words, it is really not a bad ideal to send people to the developers sites cause all roads lead to Rome :)
Nobody sells shit on a crashed or overloaded site.

The shoutbox is a huge resourse hog. Times of high traffic mili will turn it off for a bit.

1) I resent your constant bashing of Crom10Hex. Since March 1 there have been ZERO "overload protection" alerts. Same w/ Cruelio at C-C.
2) Who are you to tell me to read a book! I built an Ikea bed for the kids, changed my car's erl, installed a new muffler in the other car, and cooked dinner for the family. Reading is over-rated!
3) I have never understood the purpose of "shout boxes". I have a wife, she likes to shout, I'm too big to hide in a box. If ever you sell (and provide technical support for) a large enough box, perhaps you might persuade her to jump in so I might mail her to Abu-Dabi (just like Nermal the cat). Seriously dude, kill the shout box or set it up on another server with links to and from your site.
4) Another site uses a general notice for all lemmings telling them if service is out. I know it is work to do that each time, but it might help save on bills if you did such a thing.
5) I sent you an E-mail and somehow you responded in minutes the other week. I know you are busy, and I found it very impressive and very cool that you responded so quickly. You have always seemed to be on top of stuff like that.
6) Thanks for not disappearing like so many other sites.
I hope you appreciate my sense of humor on items 1-4.
Best,
T
