Anyone getting short blackouts with Phoenix?

Not sure but it might be from keys rolling? So far this has happened twice while I was watching. The screen will go black for about 3-4 minutes and come back like nothing ever happened.Free channels still work during this,101 etc. The same thing happened with the last Phoenix too. No biggie,just wondering.

Don't think the keys have changed for awhile (at least not on DN). What is your setup and what are you using?

3700,Private image,atmega 128 w/18.432. Programmed w/pal 2.1.5 at 4.50.
i was just reading at another site that programming should be done at 4.608 for an 18.432 crystal. I doubt that has anything to do with this though. I just had a new dish installed by a DN installer.Signal looks great.

Same here. Black screen for a few seconds. Occurred a few times today but ok tonight.

Well, most of you didn't say which provider you are having problems with. I can say from experience (I am monitoring almost 60 receivers at a trailer park here) they are a mixture of PVR/DVR 501-508-510 and 301/2800/DP311 receivers (all with Atmega128) on PAL 215 and NONE of them are exhibiting any freezes what-so-ever (knock on wood!).

Believe me, I would know the INSTANT that there is a problem...I have senior citizens here that watch TV 24 hours a day, 7 days a week!!!

Same type of 1 minute blackouts on 4900 here with private numbers. No blackouts on 301.13 with private numbers or 301.10 with public numbers. Havn't figured what the problem is yet but am thinking it's with my reciever TSOP programing.

It's still happening.Every 1-2 hours DN goes black for about a minute. Funny thing is although audio isn't working during this,the closed caption words still come up on screen if mute is on.
Anyway,I re-wrote my atmega a couple times during the day and that didn't stop it.

dn PVR 510 p402 PAL2.1.5 freezing here. Its not that big a deal to me but when i recorded the race saturday night and it froze for 5 min after the green flag my heart stopped for 5 min LOL

OK, now I am getting intermittent freezing on SOME of my receivers...doesn't seem to matter about firmware, I have a couple of DVR510's with same firmware side-by-side and one freezes while the others don't. My freezes last about 20 seconds to sometimes a minute.

My DP311's I have running on Atmega128 have not frozen... weird!

This is on DN...mixture of PVR/DVR 501-510, DP301, DP311, and legacy receivers.

setup is 2700 with atmega 128 2.1.5 pal and freezing also.just the last 2 pal before was fine.

Yeah, me too, DP301.010, Atmega 128 PAL2.1.5. It freezes for about 1 min, then resumes.
Just switched over to my ROM102, and it's been fine (so far)!

Currently DN is freezing on international channels - refer to sats: 61.5/105/148 !



After looking at full stream there is a new map31 in the stream combined with fake keys causing several platforms to freeze; expect all other channels to start freezing later today !! well we know its coming we just have to wait and see what happens

The DN PAL2.1.5 Apr15 "bug fix" does not work for me. It works, but it freezes.
