Swiped this from another site......it is GOOD info.

************************************************** **************

I've made this post because as I look through these forums I can not believe there are people that are putting these couple hundred dollar cards in there unlockers and not knowing what the Dip switch settings are used for. I have a Nexus and have spent a few minutes tracing the lines for the Dip settings.

OK, first I would like to clear up is on these Orange, Blue, Clear Nexus's. You do not have to have pin 1 & 6 down to be able to flash. I don't know who came up with that but they don't know what there talking about. The only pin you need down to flash on these Nexus's is Pin 6. Pin 1 is a clock line and it doesn't hurt to have it down while flashing but I'm sure it doesn't help neither and could be a reason why so many people are having problems flashing there loaders.

Remember that only one clock pin can be down at one time or you can damage your loader.

Pins 1-4 are your clock pins on the Nexus Orange/Blue/White/Cyclone. I will say it again so that we can stop this miss information about flashing nexus's. You DON NOT need to have Pin 1 down to flash your loader, only Pin6 needs to be down. I've trace all pin outs on the Nexus and Pin1 has nothing to do with flashing, it is a glitch clock line.
