having problems with with a 128 /it programs and erases with no problem but it keeps coming up 019 tried a card on top which it never needed and tried 1of those virginize eeprom program no luck ,any suggestions besides order another,it work fine until last phoenix program

are you using 4.50 for iso settings?

yes i use all the same settings i've been using it just wont work its a backup anyways ,i would like to fix it just fun ,i was thinking maybe change the fuse settings on jeepers but not sure how to add more power? tyv for reply

if it's an older card that you have had for a while you may need to replace the 18,xxxx crystal, they are very cheap but you will need a soldering iron.

let me ask this cause i had that problem when i was trying to use it with the rom 103 in pal. it dont work right all the time.
are you using it as a 128 to 103? if so try my sticky in the top of atmega forums.

if it's public #'s i can forward you a jeepers pfg for rom 103. if it's private you will have to use the sticky.

put a new chip in and virginixed it again and its ano go ,it erares and writes but just a 019time to toss it

well if you went as far as puting new chip in your only 1 xtal away from refurbing the whole thing. find a old broken loader from dave days or even a old dirct ird.they have 18.000 something xtals in them. youl be good as new.

or you could do a google search for your xtal and buy a few at around $1 each plus shiipping.

It could be your fuse settings, try FF AE 89 FF, that works for me sometimes.

the card was junk bye the way i changed the crystal and the fuse settings and spent way to much time on a 24$ item that payed for itself quite a bit ty guys for your input
