I have a brand new powersync unlocker and I am unfamiliar with it. I am trying to unlock a ROM 102, Rev 10C and am getting a string of XOXOXOXOX. Nothing else. The pot setting is about 195 and I am using the Unknown Provider RSX1_Test.xvb script.
I have also tried the RomMaster RM1C script and I get .............. only.
I would appreciate some guidance from someone who has some experieince in this effort.
Thanks

Whoa.... running the Unknown Provider RSX1_Test.xvb script to unlock a ROM102 REV10C card is not adviseable!!!
GIZMOLITE is correct, stick with the RM-1C and let it run... the dots may even turn to dashes, but that's just how the program runs...
RM-1C will take awhile (perhaps even DAYS) but the success rate for it is higher than anything else for REV 10C's at the moment.
What he did not mention is that when adjusting the potentiometer, it is adviseable to stop the program, remove the card, and remove power to the loader while adjusting your resistance (ohms). Move in small increments (of say 10-15 ohms).

If I start at 105, should I move up or down?

Check out the thread on 10C success....I don't have a PowerSync...I have a Nexus White/Clear and my 10C's only pop at high resistance...I believe PowerSync pops 10C's at less than 105... but check that thread to see other people experiences.

I'm doing rev107 and rev109. Trying to use RomMaster v1C? What script to do you recommend?
This is first time I'm doing anything higher than rev 105 that I did with my old nexus.

I have a powersync and I use 220 ohms with switch one and seven down. I have opened three 107's (looped one) and opened two 109's (looped one) with rommaster1a. I thought rommaster1c was for internal cards?

Most people recommend RM-1C. There are no DC2's to send to the card...you flash RSX-1 to your Powersync, set DIP 1 up,- all others down, set your ohms at 190, select the Script/Com tab, click on Enable RMS, then Run RMS... and watch the dots and dashes until you hear Homer Simpson.
If you hear a "clunk" instead...your card is looped.

So is RM-1c better to use than RM-1A for 10C & 28A er pretty much equal?
