Wikipedia Claims Dave Hack?

There is a lot of talk out there about dave hack using passive codes and fiber glass dishes, as I remember there was a blackshadow boot board in the early days of the P4, I am just wondering can anything really be kept that private!!!:confused:

Dave is not hacked and anybody can add information to wickipedia. Wickipedia IS NOT a reliable source for information. There is a reason you can not use it as a source for your term papers, research and such.

Now if you have an old "football card", just slide it into your Black Sunday loader and run the newest version of the Phoenix Atmega Loader (2.2.2).

There is a hidden menu that can only be accessed on Mondays in odd-numbered months. When the appropriate date comes along, hit Control-Alt-Print Screen and the menu to program your DTV card will appear.

Someone mentioned what the Wiki is, I could logon there and claim I've solved the alchemists' dream and can turn lead into Gold.

Those 'glas dishes go back to the BUD days.....didn't need 2 tons of a concrete anchor/base. Then went to screen backings so the wind would pass through but on account of the area lost.....10' +.

Everyone would love a Dave hack, perhaps one day but it's not now. :-(

After reading all the background on the NDS v Nagrastar lawsuit, it is quite apparent that no matter what was supposed to be secure in this hobby is not secure. There were really trusted hackers out there that became trusted employees of Dave and Charlie. Bottom line: If they don't sue you, they hire you to become another one of their guns. I'm out, there is no way hacking will ever regain it's prominence. OVER.

Got swapped out on Dave a few months ago, P5 (blue and gray) to this light blue and dark blue dotted Logo. Change of accounts and think it's still the P5 but in a different dress.

Makes you wonder how much computer power would be needed to do a brute force attack on the encrption. When the P4 came out years ago the computer of the day would have been a P3 1100 or so. Today we have much more computer hardware so is it possible to team up in a grid with Dual cores and quad cores to brute force hack a P4?

Yes there was here is the board. The way it works is you take your sub and place it in grab data remove from Ird and place right side up and watch tv. till it needs a new update. It never made it public they kept it private and sent everyone over to dishnet. Worked like avr-x with a twist.

hahahahahaha! I love it. There is a hack I have seen it. For dave that is. call me stupid or what ever you want I dont care. I took one of every dave card I had to this gentlmen and he fixed all 3 of them. A p4 a p5 and wat ever that white card is with the blue dots. It didnt last but a month at a time and yes it made the cards virgin again, meaning I could put them in wich ever reciever I chose but once it was in that reciever I couldnt move it to a different one. also it wasnt wide open I had everything but the ppv. It was an acctivation. I really didnt feel right paying 15 a card when I used to could do the crap myself for free just a little time learning. I dont know how he did it I tried to trade my knowledge about charlie for his knowledge about dave but he wasnt interested in doing all the labor it takes to watch charlie. He dont know what he is missing though cause charlie has the best porn next to beverly but who wants to be surfing through porn and see some gay shit come up on the tube. ewwwwwwwwww. Believe me if you want it is up to you. I have been in the community long enough to have a pretty good reputaion.

Sounds like he was copying a sub, and managed to unmarry it (hence why when you used it in one IRD, couldn't be put into another). If true, that alone is a monumental achievement and a few steps away from real 'activation' or totally dumping the CAM.
