Hi all . I have two 128 cards , one of which works perfectly while the other keeps yielding the "Card not inserted correctly" error message . I've erased many times , reprogrammed , cleaned the contacts , inserted a credit card with it , but it just won't work . I should point out that it's an old card with a 9.216MHz crystal and it used to work as early as a few weeks ago with a Jeepers crystal setting of 9.000 . Any ideas ? Thanks .

Try virginising your card with a Pheonix program.then load your card with your jfg.-pfg.

Have you tried changing the speed setting in PAL? 9.216 divided by 4. Don't know if it'll work at that speed though.Make sure you wait at least 20-30 minutes for a picture to come up.

Take the working card, and open PAL2.2.5. Read and Save the mECM, then when you program your non-working one patch the mECM data you saved to it. That may work for you as well.

Thanks empulse but I can't run PAL lately b/c it won't work with Win98 any longer . I have to rely on Jeepers .

Seriously. Move to XP. you can get a lite-XP that will run on older PC's if you search ThePirateBay.
If not.. are you using pub or private #'s ? maybe a PFG could be generated for you with the mECM already patched to it.
