Hey gang,

Sorry here. I've been away for about 2 weeks now. Last time I checked I programmed my USB256 with 6.04 software and all was working OK.

I've come home back to check on the TV and SITE and all I hear is speculation that the card is dead or has been 'cracked' and its not being supported anymore, or we are going to have to 'pay' for fixes???

I'm really confused here on WTF is going on. Can someone please fill me in on current events, there are too many erratic threads and I don't understand what is happening HERE.

Is there files for my USB256, can I watch TV or is it dead? What is the deal with my card.

Can someone point me in the right direction and tell me what to do?!?!?!?
Thanks

ttyl

Just wait it out. Nobody knows WTF is going on, although rumors abound. The card is currently down and there's no fix at the moment. One has been hinted at "in a day or two".

http://www.card-coders.com/forum/images/icons/icon1.gif 3rd Party USBAtmega256 Software
It seems someone or some group claims to have developed 3rd party software that works on the USBAtmega256 card and wish to take over support for the card.

Whoever you are, you picked a damn fine time to take over support. Sigh.

As to how I would feel about all this? Well, I would be delighted!

Please upload your software here.

If nothing materializes, well then, I guess I will have to upload something myself.

http://www.card-coders.com/forum/images/icons/icon1.gif [SOLVED] Hitec Team Third Party Software
The Hitec Team has developed a third party software solution for the USB Atmega. We are requesting feedback from the dedicated users here at CC. The software contains the same user interface as Fabs. We are currently working out the bugs. Thanks for the support PKD.

http://www.card-coders.com/forum/images/icons/icon1.gif Feedback
Yes group we are requesting positive or negative feedback from the group in concern of taking over the support for the software. There will be a small fee associated for upkeep, and so forth. We will be uploading screenshots soon. The software will not be released until all of the bugs are worked out.

The good news is that the old reliable Atmega 128 is currently up and going strong. I wish I could say the same for my USB Atmega 256.

the only time I use my usb256's is when 128's are down. Don't like the 256's cause theres no locals on the last few fixes and now theres nothing. Got to love the 128's though.

And at the cost of one USB Atmega, you can buy 5 Atmega128's that get the locals and work

Been down here over a week now... But my FTA for backup has been working almost the entire time... Would be nice if somebody would say something... Looks like Atmega USB 256 and Engima both have bitten off more than they can chew.

Would be nice if one of the support team would atleast keep us updated on what is going on and when to expect to get an update.
