Have you tried erasing your card 2-3 times 'BEFORE' you program it?

Try using jeepers to erase and alt erase several times, then write the
factory restore eeprom and flash files.. Again erase in jeepers at least
10 times.. Now try to program the card with Pal (uncheck verify write)
This has worked with stubborn atmega's for me.. If this also fails..
you may need to get a shorter db25 cable or better still if you have room
plug the atmega programmer directly on the back port of you computer
and try again.
good luck

do you make sure the clock speed is 4.50 instead 3.68

yes its 4.5

Believe it or not, sometimes 4.5 is different than 4.50
PAL needs to be set at 4.50

you can program you atmega right but no go in the reciever, is your atmega is the jumperless one?
got one that program ok but in my receiver no card detect, then i clean iso contact on the atmega card but nothing, i've just putt a litle bit of solder on the pads and voila! the problem was comming from my receiver card slot not making contact with atmega card.(adding tickness to the card pads solve the problem)Maybe your receiver card slot getting loose, time to change it !!

any ideas?hunter if you have a 128 atmega check lock fuses have read FF A1 89 FF , you can used a jeeper to correct the lock fuse after that you can use phoenix , just erase 3 to 5 times and reprogram..:D
