xp atmel = bsod

i have never had this prob before but as of a few weeks ago i cant flash my loader. as soon as i hit the program button i get bsod & puter will restart.....useing nexus blue loader/unlocker,gateway 3.2 gig puter. i used to be able to flash with no problems. also noteworthy..same thing with orange nexus so i dont think its a loader prob

did you add any other changes to your software or hardware in your computer lately? I have never seen anyone get BSOD from xpatmel. that is just odd

yes but not really sure what i might have added tho cause i dont flash my loader very often,maybe once every couple months so there is no telling. i posted just hopeing that someone might have had simular prob.

got it figured out,my son installed 2 new physical com com ports on my puter & used the software that came on the disk to setup. it somehow or other screwed up how windows saw the com port & xpatmel would crash windows or at least cause it to crash. we reinstalled the drivers & viola.......i still cant figure out why i could read & write cards useing nagra or basicly any other prog but couldnt flash
