View Full Version : DP501 and enigma

Have a DP501 that works fine with original TSOP and EEPROM loaded. Loaded a TSOP and EEPROM to marry hard drive to private numbers from dssftp store and that works fine.

Trying to get enigma card to work.
When I follow Milli's guide for "private key and DP" the resultant TSOP has something wrong -- detect in JKeys shows the correct device but the boxid and all other info are FFFFFFFF or something unreadable.

When I follow the guide for "private key and legacy" the resultant TSOP and eeprom give good guide for all the tiers loaded and remap that I put in but black screen for all but a few stations (213 for sure works).

Anyone out there have any ideas what to try.

TIA

Update to prior post:
Testing steps used:
DP501 - functions just fine w/original TSOP and EEPROM
Have re-married hard drive to boxid and keys in PK file
GenDT08-SK
load current TSOP and check Use IRD Secondary Key
load bn102 (from EE9.9)
load PK file (from mili's store)
run calc SK and then save TSOP
JKeys
Erase Flash 1 and 2 [allowing jkeys to initiate programming]
Program Flash 2 with TSOP from above
after programming is complete and I shut IRD down and then power up and re-detect in jkeys I get:

IRD #: 0 0000 00001-96 and the Box Keys: FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF

Looking for suggestions on what I am doing incorrectly

TIA

Once private data w/SKs is loaded the flash should read ok as a 508, not a 501.

501 seting looks for numbers in the dt08 location, SKs relocate those numbers, the flash then becomes a 508/510 type flash.

Thanks skinerd -- have the box at least showing the guide correctly for the couple of tiers I loaded in EE but only get banners all black screens xcept for the 213 like channels.

About done with this test and off to a different solution to test.

Have you checked to see if your using the current keys? Use one of the key grabbers here, or just go to the "current keys" link.

Keys are current and RSA and DT08 values match.
