From what I've read it's a new more clever type of spam bot that is able to foil the guards and get through the registering process...lots of sites being hit with them....may have a Chinese origin

I've noticed, on other sites, some posts with the registration date showing as 'unregistered' and the post count showing as 'N/A'. Oh, well. It's simple enough for a moderator to get rid of them.
