Would any one know what the home site of the Phoenix loader is?

It takes hours for the files to get around. I'd just like to be a little quicker on the draw.

LOL, "Hours"... Man, sometimes I can't believe this generations thirst for immediate satisfaction.
Most of the time, an MECM comes down 24-48 hours before it is actually activated. The fact that the Phoenix Team can take it and integrate it into the newest PAL and have it out within hours of the activation is awesome (and lends GREAT support to a device that many people have consistantly sung the funeral dirge).

I'm not knockin the Phoenix Team at all. The support is great and they get the files out real fast. I just wish I had half the smarts the coders have.

I don't believe the Phoenix Team call any one particular site "home"... rather they have a distribution route that involves several of the major sites, then filters outward from there.
Personally, a few hours is NOTHING to wait for a fix. Try owning a Coolsat 4,5, or 6K... LOL
You shouldn't have all your eggs in one basket anyway... if you really like to watch TV, have several different options (including a ROM102!!!) and you won't be down but for a few minutes!!!

Thanks a bunch guys. Got it. I was a member at the site before they shut down for a bit then forgot all about them. I along as everyone else here belong to a bunch of sites. It's always good to see what is going on.
