dishnet converted to bev 6000 at E635 not working

i cannot get a dishnet coverted to bev 6000 now 6000c to work with any emu at the current e635. the communication if i snoop the terminal is odd looking for both cemu and st19. can't get passed acquiring sat signal for cemu or smart card not inserted correctly for st19. am i missing something. a new flash perhaps.
checked the rsa keys from the previous working e534 firmware and are identical...lost here!
