I have a 3100-010 b*ll receiver, trying for B*V.

I have been struggling with my Atmega 256 usb.

I hope someone can give me a little bit of guidance.

This is what I have been doing.

Dark Angel
I select digital standard part 1-5, I enter my (private) IRD in hex, boxkey, and cam.
I change my timezone, set expire date about a month, generate a ppv string. I patch the eepBEV102.bin from the USBAtmega256Version6.11 bin folder.

I use USBAtmega256Version6.11, erase the avr 4-5 times, write avr, select my modified bin that I made in Dark Angel. Then I write the newest keys http://www.dssftp.com/forum/showthread.php?t=78146

Problems:
Sometimes I get channels in red (not subscribed), sometimes white. When white I get just a black screen.

Advice please, What am I doing wrong.

write bin and avr afew times same with keys
works more often

I tried multiple writes and erases with both usbatmega256verson6.10 & 6.11

I created my bin with dark angel, like I stated above.

In usbatmega256verson6.10 I detected avr, erased 4-5 times, write 2-3 times, write bin 2-3 times. I got white guide and black screen.

Then, I created my bin with dark angel, like I stated above. In usbatmega256verson6.11 I detected avr, erased 4-5 times, write 2-3 times, write bin 2-3 times. I got white guide and black screen.

Any more suggestions.

I get a 019 Error.

My CAM id is all S000000000-00 on the receiver info. I also used the 6.11 version.

Don't know why. The help around here isn't that good either.

Did you ever get the 019 Error, Card not inserted correctly?

Yes I did have that problem.

I unplugged my receiver for a long time and reprogrammed the card and it went away.

It seemed like once the receiver gave it a 019 it gave it no matter how I programmed it.

Are you attempting public ird & cam or private?

I have just tested usbatmega256v6.11 on my 6000 and I get the same result.

I get the channels unlocked, I get the guide, I get channel info but the screen stays black.

Good question. Not sure. I use the IRD and CAM from my receiver and box keys from my receiver.

Is that correct?

I'm having similar problems. I have two 256 cards, one works ok but the other will not give me the channel, their in red too (Bev 3100). Reprogrammed many times, updated the keys, nothing. I'm trying to contact the vendor (this site) but all my e-mails keep bouncing back. I believe the card may be faulty.

One of your cards works in the 3100 and the other does not?

Did you use public info or private?

a little late ,, but yes public had 3 that did this only with 6.10,,6.11,,[bev ] dick still have not had a prob. kept pluggin away at it until i figured out chan. 198[had to reinsert card a few times first off but after that came right in ] so now i just keep one for dick & two for bev ,,, test them down the road when i will prog dick & see if it interfers with bev pro. just a hunch but i'm thinking keep to one or the other [cheers]

i have had almost no luck with the 256/3100 bev combo. to be honest i just gave up. not worth the high blood pressure and for fuck's sakes everytime it won't work, especially when i have no problem on a 27/4700. Anyone know if the 3100 has the same issues running dish? if so i might consider converting, save my bulletproof 2700 for the more trouble some beverly
