Hello Everyone!

This is my first post here; I found it through my old faithful friend 'Google' (lol).

I have a used various forms of testing methods for the past 3 years, i.e. Atmega 128, Rom 102 etc. However, I am NEW to Emulation and looking for some advice, if anyone would be so kind. :)

I have a Bev 9200 IRD "receiver" LOL! I had the receiver modified with a private image, i.e. private numbers. I was given my private numbers with the following files: st19.cor, st19.rom, as well as a file named "9200 st19xl_103.txt". I have no idea what the .txt file is for, does anyone know? I was also given a file named "Auxshare 0.2.4".

From what I have read in How-To's on other sites, a program called VSPD is needed, which I have installed. I ran the ST.bat file, waited for a minute to plug in the receiver and checked to see if the System Info showed my private numbers. It did, HOWEVER when I changed the channel from 198 Bev to 332 (for example, Scream), I noticed a black screen on all channels with only a small number of these channels having audio.

Can anyone tell me what current st19xl & Auxshare versions I would need to use with private numbers? Unfortunately, when my receiver was modded and I was given these files to use, I was not informed what versions the st19xl & Auxshare were.

I have re-checked my set up and cannot figure out why I am getting a 'black' screen on all channels (except 198 Bev) and only audio on some channels. My guide is not red. Could it possibly be my VSPD set up? When I checked the ST.bat file, it stated the following:
ST19XL.EXE -a -m -s -pe1 -pa3
ST19XL.EXE -m -s

Any suggestions and/or advice would be greatly appreciated. :)

UPDATE
======

After continuing to browse this website, I finally resolved my own issue! No need to reply LOL

I figured out that I had to set the VSPD to com port 3 & 4. I started Auxshare, waited 15 seconds, I then started ST19XL, waited 1 minute and finally I plugged in my IRD. Within 60 seconds, the keys rolled and to my SURPRISE I was up and running on Bev, i.e. audio and video both working.

I want to thank you guys for your previous postings, as I read that Auxshare had to be running first LOL (I never had it running at all!). Basically, I followed a previous post by a member step by step as mentioned above.

Goodnight everyone, I am going to finally watch some HDTV for the first time on my Bev 9200 IRD and then catch some ZZZZZZzzzzzzzsssss

Victoria :)
