I havn't used Cemu much lately, mostly using ST19. I'm not getting any baseball on the 400 sports channels. I'm using the new modual with
cemu10C_1.3.42ry , it compiled alright and is working great on the other channels.
Can anyone give me a reminder or point me in the right direction?
Thanks in advance,
Scoob
You need the tier on your dish.bin. Remember, only 17 tiers total plus one ppv tier available in a dish.bin, and you don't want to use the all sports 3M tier. Dish.bin's are rom10 to rom102 .bins.

I have the sports channels tier.
As far as I know, there has not been an MLB tier for over a year now, so I thought that this was a blackout string issue.

I am in the same boat, I haven't used CEMU in a while but I remember that you do have to change your blackout string read this post. http://www.dssftp.com/forum/showthread.php?t=70202&highlight=Blackout+Strings+mlb
For some reason it still doesn't work for me, I think there is a problem with my tiers.
Blackout strings are for local remapping. Has nothing to do with the tiers, with the exception of you need to have your local tier present to remap it. You don't get any channel groups unless you have the right tiers for them. You need to add the MLB tier. You guys can figure it out from here apparently.
btw-my cemu is up and running with all the channel groups, local and time zone. ;)

How do you put an MLB tier on when there is no such thing?

I guess you don't scooby.
Everyone else would write a tier that looks something like this:

I made this tier expired on purpose.

That thread is talking about ROM102, so it would transfer over to ST19. I can get the MLB games I want on ST19, but it is down at the moment.
That I remember with Cemu, there was a patch you needed for the dish.bin. Then the auto-blackout string function will work.

You can patch that tier all you want. Those channels don't exist. There is NO MLB package on Dish. They stopped carrying it last year.
You have to get MLB in the 400's sports channels.
There was an Auto-Blackout string function added to some versions of Cemu last summer. I can't remember what versions it what worked with, and the patch you needed for your dish.bin.

Ok, I found the problem and just wanted to post back what the solution is, just incase anyone else is having the same issue.
This is the patch that needs to be patched to your dish.bin in order for the auto-blackout string function to work. If you have been using public numbers, and the bin was setup properly, you may not even have heard of this patch.

So did that add every channel you were looking to get scooby? Sure looks like it still only lets you add ONE extra remap, and your still not going to get that one unless your in the spot beam for it.

JT, it did exactly what I was looking for. It's not just about the remap. There is a file in cemu called blackout.cnf, it has different blackout strings on it for MLB cities. See before when surfing in the 400's... say 418 would have a MLB game, but it was not for my area, all I would get would be black screen. Same with 420, 422, 423 and so on. I would only get one or two games out of maybe 10 or 12 games that were on. Now, with the auto blackout update feature working, the blackout string is changed automatically by Cemu as I surf the channels, and I get ALL of the games. :)

Cool. I guess since the fox sports package is broadcast in all spot beams, you can cheat it a bit like this. I hate baseball, (steroid junkies) but football season is coming up. Might come in handy then even for me.
