HT tiers and so on. I have tried so many tier programs i cant even tell you anymore. Its rom 10 just a hint would be GREAT.!! PS CEMU is running GREAT Thanks to all that make this happen, just not on the channels I would like to get.

i have always used fibr16 (on a dos boot disk)
it's been very dependable. also i don't change the flash until the old one really quits working. they tend to last much longer than one would think..

green guide means your tiers are expired. here is a C/P of a post that helped me with this. credit goes to the original poster.
Sounds like the tier dates have expired on your d*sh.bin.
Try this;
Open your d*sh.bin in NagraEdit 4.1
If it asks what type of bin it is, select "Rom10"
Click on" Patch"
Copy and paste the following patch into the patch window
Click "test patch"
Click "run patch"
Click "File" >>> "Save as"
and save as d*sh.bin
Paste your updated d*sh.bin into your cemu folder, overwriting the old one.

I don't know which CEMU you are using
but switch to 1.4.43 / 1.3.44 and use my dish.bin
I have had the same dish.bin for 5 years
never had to touch it

Having same problem with guide going green. 301.13 single.
ST19 was working until latest ecm, also had cemu working fine a while ago.
Cemu comes up working then if change channel get "do you want to upgrade / purchase" and entire guide is green. Also seen ird reset a couple of times.
Get same thing with SJ's bin.

I just compiled cemu yesterday and that exactly whats happening with my 501, it will bot up fine and run for a little while, then reboot, then run for a little while rboot again and soon after if I change channels it will desub, and it will repeat the process if I reboot the pc.

I tried that flash and my IRD wouldn't even start up. (It never progressed to acquiring signal). 10bar works. But I'm having a different problem now. The channels go green right at power up. If I then restart CEMU, the green is gone and all channels are fine.
Any thoughts on how to fix that, so that it's ok at power up?

Could the firmware on the receiver be part of the cause for the desub(green guide?) 3900 upgraded at P350 been asking to update for months. Is it safe to take the latest fw updates with cemu?

Finally found a copy of 10bar.hex and reflashed.
Seemed to have same issue initially green guide and receiver reset.
Recompiled cemu with the source files posted earlier and using jacks bin with 10bar flash and has been up for a couple of hours now.
Thx SJ and everyone else for the advice. This site rulez !

Another suggestion re: green guide...
When generating tiers for cemu rom10-102 bin in Mr-tierworks, extra info is included in the patch file that contains zip, timezone, ect... (see below example).
IF that information is different then what is in the cemu.ini file, you will get a green guide after a few hrs.
SO, either comment out all zip code, timezone info in the cemu.ini file using a #
OR
make sure that the zip, timezone info in BOTH the dish.bin file AND cemu.ini file are identical.
Locals patch generated from MR-tierworks for cemu rom10-102:
The red highlighted info must be IDENTICAL to the info present in the cemu.ini file.
