Bottom right of the card #108659 Rev AA

I am about to buy a 301 receiver the card at the bottom corner says 108659 which from the chart should be a rom 101, but the guy said he just used it 2 months ago. I called dish and they said it was good to go, no new card was needed. So how accurate is that chart on here. I want to make sure that dish is not wrong, which is possible.

You're being scammed by the seller. Rom 101s have been out of the steam for about two years now. Either, the Charlie CSR doesn't know shit about which card is current or is blatantly lying to you just to get you to sub.

Stay as far away from this "deal" as you can.

That's not the issue. Assuming that the seller is selling a subbed 301, the OP said, "but the guy said he just used it 2 months ago." I contend that no way was a subbed IRD using a rom 101 card as recently as 2 months ago. Didn't happen. That's why I'm 100% positive that the OP is being scammed.
