New cards in mail today

Ok I got home from work today and checked the mail. Inside there was a priority mail envelope I opened it up and there were two cards in there. With a letter from dish saying to please call 18003333474 for instructions. I just got off the phone with them and we installed sox cards in both my cardless recievers 322 and what ever my dvr unit is (It has too much crap on it to look at the numbers) Anyways both the receivers were cardless now they run on cards. I tryed to read the cards in n2edit and nagra edit befor calling and all I got was unknown prvider. The cards are yellow and just say dish 500 on them like the one milli sells for 39 dollars

never call or install the cards --- what cards you talking about? if i didn't sign for them then i never got them, understand. you could of had a couple extra cams.

oops well i'll just buy a couple from milli for 39 dollars they sure look the same but I still have my other boxes and a few extra so cards just don't understand how turning off the receiver for 30 seconds then it comes back on by itself made the card slot work I wish I could do that with my 322 in the closet

when you read with n2edit it should show rom and rev but will probably read unknown provider. c/p what n2edit shows when you try to read

Shit yeah it would be good news. Last I heard Dish was swapping out all S0X cams along side the rom102/3s for rom241's.

How about checking out what the cards are through the system info of the recievers you installed.

Please either reset your rom with an ISO or get your receiver to tell you which rom version your new ones are, and post that info too; rather than just "got mine today". which roms your getting swapped out to makes a big difference to what's going on.

Yes. The 10X, S0X, and 206 will all be replaced by the 241.
