:oTakes 18-25 seconds to read 102 now in NE 5.2? Can't write to it either now but still get provider I.D. and ATR. If tying to read in N2Edit v2.58 get Unknown provider and failed writes. Tried to change intercept for both and no luck. Any suggestions? Have always used 5.2 as 2.58 would never run on laptop!!

SEARCHY4 hit the nail on the head...are you using an ISO reader/writer or a "loader"/glitcher to write that card?

I have always preached that a loader is for glitching and an ISO is for writing. Using a loader is asking for a Provider Unknown or worse.

Also low voltage input to the ISO/loader could be your culprit. The device needs at least 6vDC (preferable 9vDC) to accomplish it's functions. 5vDC is just not going to do it. Overpowering the circuit with more than 10-12vDC will more than likely damage the components in the circuit. The "sweet spot" for most ISO/Glitchers seems to be about 9vDC @ 300-500mA.

its a Mikobu iso, but its been left on for months and i think its burnt out like SEARCHY4 said. getting all kinds of error messages in 5.2 like
Opening COM1.
Removing card lock
Closing COM1.
Bad communications, try again

It reads but won't right. (restoring data space pointer) failed to update bug catcher etc etc.
