unloop your card and when it ask for a valid 3m put one on it and then watch tv. don't try to read the card, just reset the ird and insert card.

ALso, make sure you clean the BIN before you are writing it to the card as it may comtain a code that has a lock in it.

it should let you write any bin file after you unloop. just make sure the bin is ready to go befor you write it after unlooping. that way you can just insert it in the receiver after your done. don't read it just insert it and watch tv.

Rounddish, make sure you're writing just a BIN to your card. Some freeware bins are actually 3m/bin combinations...and many of those are intentionally designed to lock the card. Most freeware files give a brief description of the file itself...read it, and make sure there's no imbedded 3m attached.

A locals hex will only work with an Activation and NOT a 3M ..
Do you have the right zip and locals info written ???
It can take 24 hours for them to come in ...

You just clean the bin ...

Open your bin in Extreme ( NO CARD ) and click on the wiper closest to the left...

Or , click on Eeprom, Clean Eprom ...
This will clean you bin ...
