ringtone question-too cheap to buy them

can i take songs in my music files and transfer them to my cell phone as a ringtone? if so were can i get info on how to do this

depends on your phone how it is done I have an IPhone and apple likes to charge you for ring tones I done a google for "Iphone ring tone maker" found me a ringtone maker real quick. Now on my previous phone it was a lot easier just had to pick a tune from the mp3 player part of the phone so just had to edit to get what I wanted
