For some reason my dish keeps losing channels, i think overnight but I'm not sure. Seems to always be the same channels that are lost. they arent in the guide, and I cant manually type them in. A simple unplug/replug of the receiver seems to fix the problem but its becoming very annoying and I dont know whats causing it.

2800 receiver with ST19XL 2.8.15

I had this happen before, with the same IRD actually. I believe it was a bad COR file. Try to do another COR file up with different tier program, or if you are on pub numbers download a latest AIO image and use that to see if it 'goes away'

I am unsure what I did to fix it, but I know it took me a damn long time and I re-did the COR file a good 5 times before I made ST happy.

well it seems to have gotten worse now, a reset of the IRD doesnt fix it. Channels seem to be gone for good??

I'll have to see if I have an older cor file. Funny thing is I didnt edit the cor file at all, this just started happening on its own one day

have you tried a check switch?

DIfferent COR didnt help.
I did try a check switch, but it didnt help either
It randomly just swaps to the Congratulations on setting up your Dish 500 channel when it loses the other channels. I'll see if I can make a list of all the channels that are missing next time it happens. Seems to be at least once a day, if not more... No specific time either...

I have the same problem with a 508 and st19. I just put in an atmega to try and it fixed the problem. I really don't know why it works for atmega and not st19. I have noticed it is sat 119 channels that go away.

DN is moving channels over to the new secure playground, but I read on another site about this same problem and Im sure they have to adjust the lo/high's, if you run a check switch, when done it will download a new program guide, might try that and see if the channels come back.

Pretty sure most of these channels are being moved to a new bird, but are still being broadcast in N2 format. You will need to spoof your rom to rom241 though to get around the needing new card error as well. Haven't worked with this yet because I don't give a hoot about those channels, but that is what I've been reading.

I am also loosing International channels on ROM 102 with WGFB blocker.

Perticularly, I have noticed channels 585, 586, 619 where I am getting "New Smart Card required to view this channle" as per my ROM 102 message on 61.5W.

When ,on same bird, I hooked up Viewsat from one of my friend, i could watch all above chennels. Why?

Because those channels are still being broadcast for N2. The error that is happening on those channels is a result of the rom/revision on the card or card substitute and the receiver firmware. If you spoof a rom102 to rom241 the error will go away.
