If you are a developer or manufacturer get in touch please I am interested in selling these. Same thing goes for nFusion boxes, if you can get them to me at a wholesale price I am interested.
I am convinced IKS is the only thing that will work in the future. BEV is all Nagra 3 now and Dish also started the swap. If you can't beat them join them I guess?

I say the same also mili.
FTA receivers that have dongle/IKS/EKS/VIA Card sharing will move that way soon. Coolsat, Capitan, Neosat, Dreambox, are just some, I gave you a list hope it helps let me know if you need more mili :).
Mili is interested and I won't go there until Mili offers it.
I have been bothering Mili to offer video streaming for UFC and Boxing but that never happened. Shit, I'd gladly pay $3.95 for the View and if everyone else thinks like me............let's DO IT!
Sent this to Mili, Charlie is buying up Sirius/XM Debts, to perhaps get a Majority position. I'm thinking Mr. Ergen will probably sell out to Dave and keep the Sat Radio Biz.
Both Sat provider are blowing their collective load with advertising and specials...........if XM and Sirius Merged.....................guess what?
(there must be at least 100 Cable Operators out there)
So, I stole the <T>hread, Bite Me as I've been around here longer than you.;-

I think he meant if XM and Sirius Merged with dishnet. Not merged together since that already happened.

Don't you think if IKS was the way of the future that the FTA companies would have made and selling the right now for the future as there is only a little time left. I think that FTA is waiting for a card fix before anything...I think that no one wants to have video from the internet .....I have had a nfusion and it freezes all the time and i am sure if more and more people go that way it will freeze even more. For card sharing i think this is ok but it is no longer free tv when you can't have all the channels.....

If you get into card sharing- DO NOT GET GREEDY. Charlie will flag accounts that have porno and PPV running 24/7. You might get away with some porn and PPV, but not wide open. You can also get away with having the national networks and sports packages. If you try to go wide open with card sharing, it's only a matter of time before you arouse suspicion. It's not like a real hack.

Most of the peeps I know or work with sub the full package on bell myself included except the internationals. Many of us even have nhlci and nflst.
I don't think any set-up like that would be a flag on Bell or charlie.
As for the ppv, they come out on dvd before the are on ppv so they are already been seen.

People sub the full package on Dish along with sports packages. That's not the same as having wide open PPV and Porn running on every channel 24/7 365 days a year.
If you know where to look you can get free streaming PPV and all the free streaming porn you can stand. Not to mention UFC and other live PPV sportung events. You use an inexpensive capture program that captures the FLV files and another inexpensive program that converts them to DVD. Most of the live movie / sports channels are being streamed. The NFL is the only entity that tries to stop the live streams. The NBA, NHL and all the others have givin up on trying to put a stop to it. Even the mighty NFL can't put a stop to it. These are uploaded from all over the world. 90% of the time I can get movies before or shortly after they get released to USA THEATERS.
Google " surf the channel" ( located in sweeden, but directs you to hosting sights all over the world and " justin tv." I think it's impossible to prosecute the end user because it's not like file sharing or card sharing. The USA can't do much about hosting sights located in countries that don't follow USA copyright laws.
Since there is no way to put a stop to it, I think video streams are the wave of the future. All modern HDTV's are easily connected to a computer. This type of streaming did not become hugely popular until 2008.

If I hijack this thread, I apologize - but something entered my mind and wanted to ask the question before I forgot. Back in the Magic Card (N1) days, they had a solution where you could take the card from your subbed receiver, lay the Magic Card on top, then slide both into the receiver to unlock the remaining channels. I'm curious if something along those lines could be used - at least by the folks who share the cards.

bro.Braindead, I agree with you, if they did not stop the Magic Card they will have a lot of customers with sub, but instead, most of them watch free tv.

The early AVR3's were like that too - I still have one.

It didn't work that way
.
The Magic card was too thin
So you placed a card, a business card on top of it, to make contact with the contacts
.
NOT to get extra channels
Supposedly we were supposed to be able to use the MC as a kind of bootloader and open up PPV's on a basic sub rom. The A1 was actually the thin red card that was supposed to have started the whole idea for the MC series of cards. I don't think that ability ever materialized for the MC.
I don't think atmega's emit enough RF radiation to be detectable, but the AVR's for sure did.
I realize we've gotten a bit off topic and it's at least partially my fault, but maybe we could please get back to the topic of the new slinger box.

I see they're offering a free Slinger IKS channel for Bell over at CC...So if someone purchased one of these things and connected to this free server, I'm assuming they would get all bev channels except for PPV? Is a subbed card inserted into the Slinger a requirement?

Sirius is not doing very well. Maybe there is a take-over by Charlie in its future. (c/p from web):
Sirius Satellite Radio. (SIRI - parent company; about 1,000 employees; stock down 96%). The music rocks, but satellite radio has yet to be profitable, and huge contracts for performers like Howard Stern are looking unsustainable. Sirius is one of two satellite-radio services owned by parent company Sirius XM, which was formed when Sirius and XM merged last year. So far, the merger hasn't generated the savings needed to make the company profitable, and Moody's thinks there's a "high likelihood" that Sirius will fail to repay or refinance its debt in 2009. One outcome could be a takeover, at distressed prices, by other firms active in the satellite business.
