will add some good news thats not a rumor, the (G3) card has been (HACKED) and is open now. This is a major first step in coders being able to write a code to work on STBs today there are still alot of problems reading the information at hand, and I will not go into it here. Just be happy this hill has been climbed.

Just checked the downloads section and theres no utilities, scripts, bins, or dumps for handling the G3 cards... I am not saying this is untrue - just still as skeptical as before reading this post.

When there is SOLID proof, like some FTAs being up without IKS or someone releases a howto on getting into the cards instead of a linkless forum post my paradigm may shift.

I'm hopeful, but until I see it for myself it doesn't exist. I highly doubt we will see anything public until after we've lost all channels on our N2 roms anyway. So don't get your hopes up just yet.

The G3 will be hacked if someone put a gun to my head right this second and said has the Mighty G3 been hacked I would say Hell Yes it has which time. Give this guy a break. The fault I believe is with their equipment. You got atmega cards still working. Everyone said their to slow for the God of all Cards the N2. You got fta's that were going to be to slow once map calls were initiated. I call bullshit. It is because the ird's/equipment is a historical anchor/technology. It is like putting a A+ beside an F- that equals hackable.

Everyone knows these cards are already hacked, its less than 150kb for the whole card and theres people with multi-million dollar reverse engineering setups who likely can make these cards scream in an afternoon.

If we publically see an open ROM240/G3 script before 2010 I would be shocked.. not saying FTA and open cards wouldn't be available for purchase...

I think this post originates with one posted a while back. It confirms access to N3 but it does not provide a completed Hack. It demonstrates it may be possible to hack N3 but there is still work to do.

you know the rumor of a hack will start..it always does anytime a new card swap goes on.it did when they changed to N2 from N1.even tho the hack did happen..but this time most agree that they have learned from their mistakes and its going to be harder maybe not possible this time around.it will be a wait and see game...I am sure that even if a hack is possible they are ready this time for it..my opinion only tho

Now they don't say if it is IKS or cardless but it sounds to me like a carless fix. We only have to wait until saturday to find out if this is bull shit.

That's right pecker88. Enough with these "dumps" already. Post or link us to a program we can use and test out ourselves. Until then it's just a bunch of random information that has little to no bearing on whether or not the N3 is cracked. A read from CyberDBS Nagra2 Tools does not include enough info that matters to warrant a claim the N3 is hacked. That's all that jeorge posted. It means nothing.

Charlie is doing the swap on a priority basis, the top tier subs, PPV purchasers and HD owners are receiving them first. The minimal $25 month subs can wait and all the aforementioned tiers will go purple first.

So you could be watching the equivalent of basic cable until September, Whoopee!

I had a couple virgin N3 purples and thats the dates they also show for tiers, and the ex-sub ones I have show actual tier dates. The G3 tiers can be dumped with T-Rex. CyberDbs is what I used when it displayed the 2030 expiration, and again, that was a virgin cam, maybe one of them pay as you go cams..I just remember see'ing the 2030 and freaking out.

I don't know about dish but back in the Rom 3 days bell used to put a tier expire of 2034 on thier cards. In those days you could unplug, cancel, then plug back in a month later and watch tv forever, well till the card swap anyway.

What site was this posted on? ...so we can read the entire post ourselves. What evidence did OT have to support his claims? This is the first I've hard about G4 encryption. This doesn't sound at all like the Charlie we have come to know and love.

Yesterday Mr. Charles Ergen (CEO) of DN announced in a Memo to the (SI) department that he would be releasing the (G4) card for all PPV Movie, PPV Sports, and all PPV Porn Channels within the next few months for all (VIP) model MPEG4 boxes.
I believe this is a calculated move to counter any and all (loopholes), and or (backdoors) that some (NDS) and (Kudelski Group) coders might have left into their older system Nagra1 and Nagra2 encryption systems that Nagra3 is based on.
This would ofcourse circumvent all work hackers have done up to this time on Nagra3 systems to date, and will cause all the work done up to this point to be worthless. I personally believe this may have been his plan from the beginning and force hackers to stop work on the new system and to wait for the release of Nagravision (G4) cards.

Now if H00 was the first rev, and H02 being the latest, How can anyone have an H02 virgen? It would seem that there must be something not right with the first 2 revs???? They probably had a glitch in them or something:cool: Any way, does anyone have a 241 h01 :D

You can have a virgin cam at ANY rev...

Virgin means that IRD info, (DT06, DT08, DT07, ect...) HAS NOT been written to the cam, hence, the cam isn't married to ANY ird.

This virgin cam can be at revH00 or H02, hence virgin implies changes to DATASPACE, not codespace, where the "rev" code is located.

Don't think there was a revH01, kinda like they skipped a few rom102 rev numbers...

Makes sence,very good information, Now if I can recall,It seems that they (DN) kept the Rom 10 at Rev A21 for a very long time, so why the 2 updates in so short of a period unless there were serious flaws in the card? And yes there is an H01, probably be in everyones interest to find some of the 00 and 01,s. Anyway, thats my dumass opinion.
