I have a sv8000 that works well but for one problem; it only does this every 3 or 4 hours.it has signal loss and the picture stops, then i hit the menu button and wait 10 seconds and the picture comes back on .is this an emc hitting my receiver? is there a way i can modify the bin to eliminate this nag ? i have tryed the clean files, the new sv factory bin, tried two different dishes. i never had trouble like this when the first new bins came out for this receiver july 26 2008. it also has two cooling fans. thank you for any help!

Bad code in the Bin....sounds like the coder didn't quite get the timing correct.

Post this complaint where it will actually get noticed by FTA coders (I don't imagine they visit here) and you might get a response. If you get enough people to complain, thats when you get a new Bin.

Two days ago we had a "small" ECM, for what I read, SonicView was not affected, so which bin are both of you using??? Maybe there are a new one out??? Did you check???
