Hmm. So you flashed your linksys router and found ten APs huh? Well something is not adding up here. So what do you have your router connected to? Give more details about your process because I can take my laptop outside and pick up ten APs also without having to flash anything.

Try this ( dd-wrt .com )
I had too cut all the bills I could.
And found that I would drop signals from the laptop in the house.
So I looked for my laptop card to make antenna but this card wouldn't work for that
Then I seen that my router could be use to get access for all the computers in the house.
By this firmware and setting it up in cleint mode or repeater mode .

Running a MagicJack on wireless? Hell the darned thing sounds like crap on my wired cablemodem...I'll bet the quality sucks and your calls get dropped all the time on wireless...?

I have found the secret to a magic jack is a few things. 1. One is memory. I was running 512mb and went to 2gig that made a huge difference with my magicjack. 2. My laptop has a built in network card I added a pcmia card and connect both to the same server that made a huge difference if one network card is missiing signal a tad the other makes up for it. I did a task manager performance check and with the magic jack only running it is pulling like 520mb of memory constant and when you talk it might go up to like 580mb of memory needed. 3. Need a good high speed connection also check your magic jack on a diff connection.
I am going to install my magic jack into the laptop permanently and use a microphone and computer speakers that way its always a way to communicate. Works well when your traveling accross the nation don't have to worry about outside your area and crap like that cell providers play.
One more things I like about magic jack is that if you don't answer and someone leaves you a message the message goes to your email address as a wav file now that is nice you can check your phone messages by going to your email in box.
I hope that helps,
Joe
Magic jack should work fine with most wireless set ups. Key is to not be doing any uploading or downloading (sharing the bandwith) with your internet connection at the same time. I've never used magic jack phone, but normal VOIP phones work just fine on wireless connections. IMO VOIP phone is the way to go. Most land line services now days are antiquated technology at at a premium price.
